A 1TB HDD is preinstalled but an extra bay is built-in for an additional HDD or DVD burner to directly copy video to a DVD for storage. The DVR has 16 BNC inputs and 16 BNC looping outputs and is compatible with most CCTV cameras. There are 2 BNC outputs for video out and a spot monitor as well as VGA and S-Video to connect to most displays. There are 4 audio inputs and 1 audio output. The indoor/outdoor cameras have a 1/4 inch color image sensor that provides a sharp image and high resolution of 500 TV lines. Each camera has 24 IR LEDs that illuminates up to 40 feet in total darkness. The built-in CDS Sensor turns on the IR LEDs to provide light in darker areas. The camera has an infrared cut filter (IRC) that mechanically slides a filter in front of the lens to filter out the infrared light during the day substantially increasing the video capture quality. These added features make them true day and night cameras. The professional dome cameras have 620 TV lines resolution. Nothing will be missed with the 1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD II image sensor and the 3. 6mm lens. The camera is adjustable on three axis meeting the needs of almost all applications. Easily adjust the settings on the spot with the On-Screen-Display using the built-in video port and included RCA cable. Press the Set Up button to display the eight options in the menu; LENS, EXPOSURE, WHITE BALANCE, BACKLIGHT, DAY & NIGHT, SPECIAL FUNCTIONS, RESET, and EXIT.
